Background

In 2015, the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has ordered several manufacturers to stop selling or paying fines for unregistered or mislabeled pesticide products. The sale or distribution of a pesticide that has not been registered or mislabeled with the EPA is a violation of federal pesticide law, which requires registration of pesticide products and pesticide-production facilities, as well as proper pesticide labeling.

The increasingly stringent supervision and control of pesticides has alarmed the pesticide manufacturers, urging them to learn more about the current regulation system.
